She acquired Eliza Ann Linville on circa 1868; When first married, they purchased a small tract of land on Pumpkin Ridge Road from the estate heirs of Daniel and Sara Brooks. They built a 2 room log cabin and some barns. They farmed the land. They sold this land somewhere between 1900 and 1915 when they moved to Guilford Co. The land was sold to a Mr Jahannie Warren who later sold it to a Mr. Walt Dwiggins. She and Sebron Fidelia Jones lived between 1868 and 1910 at Forsyth County, NC; They lived on the land they purchased on Pumpkin Ridge Road. At some time between 1900 and 1915, they decided to move from Forsyth to Guilford Co. As of 17 October 1872,her married name was Eliza Ann Jones. Eliza Ann Linville married Sebron Fidelia Jones, son of William Smith Jones and Martha Pegram, on 17 October 1872 at Guilford County, NC. Eliza Ann Linville acquired Eliza Ann Linville on in 1915; Eliza and Sebe purchased the 500 acre King Plantation on what is now Hwy 68 between Stokesdale and Oak Ridge, NC in 1915 for $500. The King Plantation belonged to Eliza's Uncle John King and wife Lydia and was purchased from their heirs. They farmed the property. The property was passed on to their son Frank Jones who developed part of it - Dawn Acres golf course. She died on 19 July 1921 at age 70. He was Before leaving NC, Julius was a salesman for Hanes Tobacco Co. between 1880 and 1890 at Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, NC. He married Sallie Davis Medearis, daughter of William Malcolm Medearis and Mary Victoria Barrow, on 28 September 1880 at W. M. Medearis Home, Forsyth County, NC. Julius Alonzo Linville moved Julius left his wife and young children in NC. Family oral history indicates he wrote from Oregon asking Sallie to come and bring the children. When she declined, he was never heard from again. Julius's brother Billy provided much of the support for Sallie and the children. Sallie's brothers, Will and John Medearis, also provided some support. Julius's family bible with associated family birth, marriage and death information was used to verify this family information. Wanda Carter Wetherall, a descendant of Sallie M. Linville, has the family bible. Newspaper article - Nashville, TN: J. A. Linville, secretary, Treasurer and general manager of the Nashville Bond and Trust Company, has mysteriously disappeared and officials say with him $800 of the company's funds have disappeared. He left last Monday but his departure only leaked out last Saturday. He was under inicment in the criminal court for running an investment company, which it is charged, was in reality a lottery. He is said to have served a term in the Kansas penitentiary in 1888 for forgery.
