     Daniel Byron Linville was born on 7 November 1888 at Kernersville, Forsyth County, NC. He married Edna Virginia Lasley, daughter of Erasumus Walter Lasley and Virginia Voss, on 4 November 1914; Married by R. S. Linville in his home (Romulus S. Linville.) Daniel Byron Linville and Edna Virginia Lasley appeared on the census of January 1920 at Belews Creek, Forsyth County, NC. Daniel Byron Linville moved at Santa Ana, Orange County, CA, in 1920 Moved family from Belews Creek, NC looking for work. Worked in the local citrus farms. He moved at Eureka, CA, in 1922 Moved again looking for work. Worked in the lumber industry. He moved at Belews Creek, NC, in 1923 After a year in Eureka, family returned to Belews Creek, NC while Dan and his brother, Ira, tried to start a commercial fishing operation in Ketchikan, AK. After Ira's death in a boat accident under suspicious circumstances in 1924, Dan returned to Belews Creek, NC and resumed farming. He died on 11 March 1969 at Santa Ana, Orange County, CA, at age 80. He was buried at Loves United Methodist Ch. Cem., Walkertown, Forsyth County, NC.
