     James Clyde Donnelly Sr. was James was a pharmacist at a drug store in Mountain City, TN that he owned with his brother Frank. The drug store failed after a couple of years. James and Frank moved to Johnson City, TN where James opened a novelty and drug store. Shortly there after James met Bill (Milliard Wright) Linville who owned a construction company. James and Bill formed a new company and went to Miami, FL to expand the firm. Soon after they started work in Miami, FL, WW I broke out and James ended up in the Army. James was gassed, hospitalized and sent home. After the Army, James returned to Elizabethton, TN where he worked as a plant supervisor at Rayon Mill. At the direction of John L. Lewis, James organized a strike against Rayon Mill. After the strike, James was made Sec. and Treasurer of the local union and later became president. During this time James bought Cream Can restaurant in Elizabethton, TN. With failing health, James went to live with sisters and a brother on the old Donnelly farm in Rheatown, TN. He started raising chickens for a NY firm until his health worsened. He was born on 9 September 1880 at Green County, TN. He married Valarie Linville, daughter of John Thomas Linville and Jennie Belle Mathews. James Clyde Donnelly Sr. and Valarie Linville were separated circa 1926; Valarie left when J. C. was five years old and was not heard from again until a few years before she died (mid 1970's). James Clyde Donnelly Sr. lived in 1933 at Veterns Home, Johnson City, TN; Failing health. He died on 6 April 1934 at Veterans Home, Johnson City, TN, at age 53. He was buried at Veterans Home Cemetery, Johnson City, TN.

She married James Clyde Donnelly Jr., son of James Clyde Donnelly Sr. and Valarie Linville, in 1942 at U. S. Congress Chapel, Washington, DC. Lilly An Georgina Heltzel died on 1 September 1988 at Virginia Beach, VA, at age 65. She was buried at Memorial Park, Baltimore, MD.
