     Johannes Grimm married Gertrud (?); Johannes' first marriage. Johannes Grimm married (?) Catherine; Johannes' second marriage after Gertrud died. Johannes Grimm was also known as John Crim Brothers Johannes and Hans Jacob Grimm landed in Philadelphia in Dec. 1740. Both of them appear later in Fauquier Co. and Culpeper Co. VA. The use of the name John Crim starts in VA.

     Gertrud (?) married Johannes Grimm; Johannes' first marriage. Her married name was Gertrud Grimm.

     (?) Catherine married Johannes Grimm; Johannes' second marriage after Gertrud died. Her married name was Catherine Grimm.

     Robert Halbrook was born in 1795. He married Rhoda Crim, daughter of Jacob Crim and Mary Elizabeth Button, on 30 June 1822 at Stokes County, NC.

     Elizabeth Crim was born circa 1780. She appeared in court Stokes County Bastardy Bonds state that John Linville was the father of a child born to Elizabeth Crim. The dates of the records start one month before John and Elizabeth Preston's marriage. John put up the 100 L bond the same day he offered surities for his marriage to Elizabeth Preston. The bond was for the maintenance of the child, but in Sept. 1820, Elizabeth Crim was allowed $20 for the second Year's allowance. It was evidently not paid by June 1822 because Elizabeth Crim took John to court for it. Whether the child carried the Linville or Crim is not known. It also appears that John and Elizabeth (Preston) Linville's first child was born at the same time of their marriage or earlier. in 1819.

     William Crim was born circa 1775. He moved at White County, TN, circa 1812.

     John Halbrook was born on 13 July 1813 at Stokes County, NC. He died on 3 April 1900 at Union City, Shelby County, IN, at age 86.

     John Fulp was born between 1811 and 1820. He married Mary Crim, daughter of James Crim and Eleanor Cook, on 10 August 1832 at Stokes County, NC. John Fulp died before 1850.

     As of 16 June 1842,her married name was Nancy Crim. Nancy Thomerson married William M. Crim, son of James Crim and Eleanor Cook, on 16 June 1842.

     Jemima Fulp was born on 1 November 1833 at Belews Creek, NC. As of 2 March 1856,her married name was Jemima Crim. She married William M. Crim, son of James Crim and Eleanor Cook, on 2 March 1856 at Belews Creek, NC. Jemima Fulp died on 21 October 1910 at Belews Creek, NC, at age 76.

     Her married name was Florinda Crim. Florinda (?) married John Crim, son of James Crim and Eleanor Cook. Florinda (?) was born in 1827 at IN.

     As of 12 January 1854,her married name was Louisa E. Crim. Louisa E. Sapp married Jacob Crim, son of James Crim and Eleanor Cook, on 12 January 1854 at Forsyth County, NC.

     Johanna Elvira Hauser was born on 16 June 1822. As of 2 July 1852,her married name was Johanna Elvira Crim. She married James Crim, son of James Crim and Eleanor Cook, on 2 July 1852 at Forsyth County, NC. Johanna Elvira Hauser died on 26 January 1915 at age 92.

     James Halbrook Jr. married Lethia Davis. James Halbrook Jr. was born circa 1814 at NC. He and Lethia Davis appeared on the census of 1850 at Guilford County, NC.

     Her married name was Lethia Halbrook. Lethia Davis married James Halbrook Jr., son of James Halbrook Sr. and Sally Crim. Lethia Davis was born circa 1815 at Stokes, NC. She and James Halbrook Jr. appeared on the census of 1850 at Guilford County, NC.

     Lewis Halbrook was born circa 1817 at NC. He and Nancy Corum appeared on the census of 1850 at Guilford County, NC. Lewis Halbrook and Nancy Corum appeared on the census of 1870 at Bruce, Guilford County, NC. Lewis Halbrook married Nancy Corum circa 1875; It is unclear when they actually got married. They were listed as living together in the 1850 census. They were listed as married in 1880 census info. Lewis Halbrook and Nancy Corum appeared on the census of 1880 at Oak Ridge, Guilford County, NC.

     George Halbrook was also known as George Holbrook. He was born on 11 February 1828 at NC. He married Elizabeth Ann Linville on 2 January 1846 at Stokes County, NC; Married at James Linville's home.
