There is considerable confusion between the researchers over exactly over this entire family. There is indications that Nancy was married (Ramsey) prior to Robert Roscoe Eldridge. Supposedly, Nancy died in child birthe and her children by Robert were raised by another famil and Robert married again and raised another family. As a result there is confusion over exactly who the mother was for all of these Eldrige children. Nancy Linville also went by the name of Nannie Linville.
